William Munny is a retired gunman and outlaw. Having retired to a hog farm that's failing he realises that the oportunity to get the $1000 reward is worth the effort. 
 
William Munny (Clint Eastwood) is initially armed with a Starr 1858 Army percussion revolver. Gradually in the course of the film Unforgiven he uses Ned Logans rifle and the Schofield Kids pistol. The standing figure is armed with .45 Smith & Wesson Schofield Model 3 six-shooter.
